The Statwright guarantee

This page is the full version of the promise on our homepage and pricing page. It is written to be read, not skimmed past. If anything here is unclear, ask before you buy.

The promise

Every Statwright campaign earns at least 8 links from websites with an Ahrefs Domain Rating of 50 or higher within 8 weeks of the kickoff call. If a campaign has not reached 8 qualifying links by the end of week 8, Statwright continues working on that campaign at no additional cost until it has.

What counts as a qualifying link

• It is live at the time of the final report.
• It points to any page on your domain.
• It sits on a domain with an Ahrefs Domain Rating of 50 or higher at the time the link goes live.
• It was placed editorially: inside the body, attribution or source line of an article, feature, round-up or news piece written by the publication's own staff or contributors.
• It is the first link from that domain. Additional links from the same domain are reported but do not count toward the 8.
• A syndicated copy of a story on a different DR 50+ domain counts as its own domain.
• Follow and nofollow links both count. The final report shows the attribute of every link.

What does not count

• Directory listings, business profiles, forum posts, comments, social media posts and press release distribution wires.
• Links on domains below DR 50.
• Unlinked brand mentions. These are reported because they matter for AI visibility, but they do not count toward the 8.
• Links placed on pages you or your team control.

What we do not guarantee

• Coverage in a specific, named publication.
• Specific anchor text or link placement within an article.
• A specific number of dofollow links.
• A specific number of AI citations. We report where the story appears in AI answers; the guarantee is on links.
• That a publisher will keep a link live indefinitely. Links that are live at the final report are counted. We monitor coverage for 4 weeks after closing and add late links to the report.

The clock

• The 8-week window starts on the date of the kickoff call.
• It pauses when we are waiting on you for longer than 3 business days (angle approval, asset approval, data sign-off, or the campaign page not being live on your domain by the agreed date). It resumes when the item is delivered.
• Week 8 is the checkpoint. If the count is under 8, work continues at no cost.

Bundles

For two-campaign and three-campaign bundles, every campaign carries its own guarantee: at least 8 qualifying links within 8 weeks of that campaign's kickoff call. A bundle of two is guaranteed 16 links in total, a bundle of three 24.

Your part

• Provide one contact who can approve within 3 business days.
• Publish the campaign page on your domain (or give your developer the files we supply) by the agreed date.
• Give us the company facts we need for the boilerplate, and tell us upfront about any topics, competitors or claims that are off limits.
